During June, DAFI Students Union (DSU) in Aden held different activities celebrating the holy month of Ramadan. One of those activities was organising an Iftar, the traditional Islamic fast-breaking dinner, for 50 poor refugees in Al-Basateen area. Another activity was a session on social cohesion and solidarity among the different refugees communities. The Ramadan session continued for 2 days (25-26 June), and took a place at Al-Basateen school and 30 people from different back grounds attended the session.
Another activity was ‘Questions and Prizes’; an entertainment activity for 2 days (22-23 June) going around in Al-Basateen and ask people randomly if interested to answer some questions on different fields (religion, education, health, etc.), testing their general knowledge and accordingly, if they gave the right answer people got prizes.
